Chapter 15.

FINAL INSPECTION

“Clean up and lay the carpet ”

3rd Council Inspection

Council inspections must be called to do the final inspection and approval.

It is very important to have on site:

  • Council approved plans (marked “builders' copy”)

  • Specifications and the soil report

Note: if the plans are not on site when the inspection is called, the council inspector will not pass the job.

It’s not over till it’s over!

Even after contractors have sweated and toiled over the actual construction of a project, they are still responsible for cleaning up the mess. For a small job, this isn’t a difficult task, but imagine cleaning up after the construction of a house or building. With dust, dirt, scuff marks, smudges, stickers, trash, and more to take care of, it’s not an easy job, especially when you’re exhausted from the completion of the project.

That’s where our construction cleanup checklist comes into play. When you’ve finished the construction, but you’re surrounded by dirt and debris, our checklist will help ensure that you don’t forget anything. Or, if you’re thinking about hiring a professional cleaner, our construction cleanup checklist will show you just how much work and stress you’ll be saving yourself.
